The countdown begins! The to-do list is getting shorter .. jabs have been jabbed, visa’s have been verified and flights have been finalised. All there is to do now is get our covid tests the day before we fly and keep our fingers crossed that we don’t pass that test!
To do what we can to make the trip as inexpensive as possible, we are taking an interesting route, spending 5.5 hours in the air and 9.4 hours in airports to end up only as far as Heathrow on the first day of travelling. This makes complete sense financially as there was a massive saving on flights any money saved is always a bonus. This does mean we will have plenty of time to plan our trip in greater detail. We will decide the best way to capture the heart and soul of the Bumba Foundation using images and videos and how to keep you in the loop every step of the way!
To help fund this trip I am also asking you lovely lot to donate what you can. Donations are a massive part of funding and the charity can only operate 100% efficiently with the kind input from our supporters. £50 can pay for education, breakfast, lunch, uniforms and equipment for one child for a whole year! If you would like to help that would be amazing and you can do so here.

It’s about time I dig out my back pack from the cupboard and start to get a little more organised. Some things are in the amazon shopping basket which will help create the content we will need for upcoming funding applications and charity dinners and the factor 50 is ready to be bathed in!
