How We Raise Our Funds
The Bumba Foundation’s source of funding comes from grants, donations, fundraising activities (sponsored events, charity meals etc) and support from companies as part of their CSR programmes. As a small charity run by volunteers, we maximise the funds we raise by having no overheads or admin costs, and ensure the projects are owned within the community, whilst maximising the funds available to have the greatest impact.
There are many ways you can help.
We have found many ways that you can help us with all our projects. And we appreciate everything you do for the children of Uganda!

ANNUAL CHARITY DINNER
Each year in October the Bumba Foundation hosts a charity dinner which allows supporters to hear about the successes of the past year, raise funds, have a great meal and catch up with friends. If you would like to attend the dinner, host a table for 8-12 friends or business clients, donate auction items or raffle prizes or even provide sponsorship, please get in touch and it would be fantastic to have you on board. You will always have a warm welcome at our charity dinner.

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES
Why don’t you get your friends, work colleagues or school friends to take part in a fun fundraising event? In the past supporters have held wine tastings, BBQ’s, cake sales, classroom challenges and collections in their workplaces… the list is endless but the key is to have fun and at the same time you are raising funds for the Bumba Foundation and allowing us to provide education and create smiles…

COMMUNITY PROJECT’S
Over the past few years, we have been joined by friends of the Bumba Foundation on visits to Uganda to take part in community projects. During these visits the team cover their own costs and also raise the funds to implement community projects in Uganda with the young people and community.

CORPORATE / COMPANY SUPPORT
Working in partnership with corporate companies has allowed us to access additional support and provide a quality CSR value for the company. An example of this support was in 2020/21 when Ashbourne Homes Ltd and TRS sponsored the development of our Impact Documentary Film which allowed us demonstrate the impact of our work, increase the Bumba Foundations exposure and increase our fundraising potential.
